Rooms with fabulous four-posters and quirky walls from another century; textures and colours to relax the senses - all combine to provide a welcome sanctuary, whether in the original Coaching Inn or the beautifully transformed ancient barn opposite. Our only original and modest Four Poster bedroom, full of character, with uneven walls and quirky features reminiscent of the 17th Century. Situated on the side of the inn offering a breath-taking view on to the Troutbeck Valley.

A Dog friendly medium sized bedroom, situated on the ground floor of our annex just in front of the main inn. Recently refurbished with vivid pink and chocolate décor again in a quiet setting just yards from the front door of the inn.
