Easy to book, friendly service. Clesn. Welcoming.
Dislikes:
Couldnt quite work out why the village pub was very busy and fully booked yet the queens head was empty in the bar and had rooms free. Room was very cluttered, too many teddies, cushions, ornaments.

It was a surprise stay foloowing a long business trip to Australia. It was also the place where I intended to propose to my partner. The staff were always on hand to deal with any issue or support any request. The venue was full of warmth and character which was also similar to the feeling you got from all staff at the venue. It was a little noisy between rooms, but this was stated by the hotel...and was not an issue. Great food, great service, great venue and would return again - soon!!!!! Read less

Perhaps some more pictures of the rooms on the website! The detail of information could be improved I guess...

We were told we got a good deal for a night for this particular room but I would not have wanted to pay the quoted amount per night - views to bins and staff car park. Read less

Location was excellent for great walks and scenery. A great place to relax in front of a roaring log fire, with superb food and just a few steps to climb to bed! No driving.
Dislikes:
Nothing at all - enjoyed every minute.
